Our sustainability policy is based on the following principles and values:

  • Principles of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM);
  • Principles of the Global Compact related to human rights, labor standards, the environment, and the fight against corruption;
  • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  • The values of accountability, integrity, and transparency, promoted by the Chilean Chapter of Transparency International (TI).

 

Strategic Objective 4: Corporate Sustainability

Sustainability is a powerful tool for driving productivity, safety, competitiveness, diversity, and regional development, as well as being an ethical imperative for any responsible company. For this reason, we have a sustainability policy applicable to all our activities, aiming to harmonize four key dimensions: business, environment, communities, and people. Additionally, since 2021, we have been implementing an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management strategy that includes concrete medium- and long-term commitments.
