Frequently asked questions

What people ask us the most

What is Impulso Tarapacá?

It is an initiative by Collahuasi that, through its Foundation, contributes concrete works to address the damage left by the August frontal system.

What works does it include?

Four areas: health (four CESFAM in Iquique and Alto Hospicio), roads (pothole repair in Iquique), critical infrastructure (Customs and Carabineros at the El Loa Border Complex) and public spaces (Paseo Peatonal Baquedano).

Who carries out the works?

The works are carried out through Fundación Collahuasi, in coordination with the authorities and with companies from the region.

How can my company take part?

By registering online on the Fundación Collahuasi Supplier Platform (www.proveedoresfc.cl). This step allows participation in the Impulso Tarapacá quotation processes. A distinction is made between registered, qualified and contracted companies. Being registered does not guarantee a contract.

Will streets other than Avenida Bilbao be repaired?

Any interventions on other streets in Iquique are taken to the working group with the municipality to assess technical aspects beforehand.

When will the works be finished?

We will publish the timelines once they are confirmed. This page shows the progress, what is under way and upcoming milestones.
