Our Internship and Thesis program seeks to identify diverse talent among young people starting out in the workforce, offering them the opportunity to develop key skills for their professional growth while meeting the requirements of our processes.

This program is projected to be a priority source of entry into Collahuasi’s Professionals in Training (PEE) Programs and, eventually, into front-line supervisory positions.

  • Program start: January 2026
  • Internship duration: 2 months
  • Thesis duration: 6 months

The application requirements are:

1.-Be a regular undergraduate student at a university recognized by the State and be in the last two years of academic training in the case of internships and in the last year in the case of dissertations, in one of the following areas:

Área Required Specialties
Civil Engineering Mining, Mechanics, Metallurgy, Electricity, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Environmental Engineering, Civil Works, Hydraulics, Telecommunications, Telematics, Data Science, or related fields.
Geosciences and Biology Geology, Biology, Agronomy, Natural Resources Engineering or related fields.
Social and Administration Commercial Engineering, Accounting, Management Control, Sociology, Psychology, Law or related fields.

2.- Present a transcript of grades for the entire academic period and a certificate of internship or report issued by the University.
